Tailor – Events Company (2 Openings)

About the role

We are looking for two skilled Tailors to join our events décor team. The role involves creating, repairing and installing fabric elements that enhance the visual impact of corporate and private events.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, cut, sew and assemble fabrics for drapes, curtains, chair covers, tablecloths and other décor items.
• Customize fabric pieces to match event themes, venue dimensions and client specifications.
• Repair damaged fabrics, reinforce seams and perform minor restoration to ensure durability.
• Support the décor crew by preparing and installing fabric backdrops, drapery and decorative textiles on site.
• Maintain high quality standards, checking stitching, symmetry and alignment before each event.
• Manage fabric inventory, track material usage and recommend replenishment.
• Collaborate with decorators, planners and production teams to translate design requirements into accurate fabric outputs.
• Follow health and safety guidelines when operating sewing machines and handling heavy fabrics.

Required profile

• Diploma in Tailoring, Fashion Design, Textile Design or related field (advantageous).
• Minimum 2 years experience as a tailor, preferably in event décor, curtain making or upholstery.
• Proven ability to work with large‑scale fabric installations.
• Strong garment construction skills and familiarity with industrial sewing machines.
• Good knowledge of different fabric types, textures and handling techniques.
