Talent Consultant (Remote, Africa)

About the role

Talent Safari helps African startups hire great talent. As a Talent Consultant you will own end‑to‑end searches, manage client accounts and drive fast hires for exciting companies across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Own searches from specification through sourcing, screening, offer and onboarding.
• Manage 5‑10 client accounts, push back, problem‑solve and close roles quickly.
• Run targeted outreach via LinkedIn, the Talent Safari community, referrals and AI tools.
• Contribute to process improvements and help scale the business.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience, preferably in startup recruitment or high‑output ops/strategy roles.
• Demonstrated ability to learn fast and execute, with examples of shipped projects or closed hires.
• Strong written and spoken English; French is a plus.
• High‑intensity work style, comfortable with blunt feedback and autonomy.

Required skills

• Experience recruiting for technical roles (engineering, product, data) is a plus.
• Strong network in African startups, especially in Kenya, South Africa or other hub cities.
