Technical & Marketing Manager – Animal Nutrition

About the role

Reporting to the Company Director, you will lead the marketing function for a business that develops nutritional additives for livestock feed manufacturers. The role sits at the intersection of animal nutrition science and commercial strategy, translating innovation into market‑ready solutions for producers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to and execute the marketing strategy for monogastric and ruminant markets across Kenya.
• Conduct competitive and technical intelligence, identify market gaps and advise senior leadership on portfolio evolution and regulatory trends.
• Align innovation pipelines with market requirements and oversee brand architecture and product positioning.
• Serve as senior technical authority, supporting sales and customers on feed formulation, nutrient optimisation, functional ingredients and regulatory compliance.
• Develop technical solutions for customer challenges and adapt product offerings to local feeding systems and raw‑material constraints.
• Produce high‑impact marketing materials that highlight scientific and technical value of the portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven experience in animal nutrition or livestock feed sectors, with a strong understanding of poultry, swine and ruminant production systems.
• Demonstrated ability to translate scientific insights into commercial strategies and marketing messages.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior leadership, product development teams and external customers.
