About the role

Cream Ouvre Enterprises is recruiting a Technical Officer for vegetation management in Taita Taveta County. The post reports to the Project Manager and provides technical oversight of clearance methods, cycle planning and quality control across the substation portfolio.

Key responsibilities

Plan the technical sequencing of clearance cycles across all substations.
Advise on species-specific clearance techniques and regrowth management.
Conduct technical quality checks and support training of field crew.
Maintain accurate technical and performance records.
Recommend improvements to clearance methodology based on site conditions.

Required profile

Diploma in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or a related field.
At least 2 years' relevant experience.
Good understanding of vegetation growth patterns and clearance techniques.
Strong attention to detail and record-keeping discipline.
Confident in training and mentoring junior field staff.
