Technical Support Operator – Nyanza – Katito

About the role

Mogo Kenya Limited is seeking a Technical Support Operator to join its vehicle finance team in Westlands. The role combines hands‑on technical work with client support, ensuring that repossessed motorcycles and financed cars are inspected, valued, and equipped with tracking devices in line with loan requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of repossessed motorcycles and cars, documenting condition, damages, and any discrepancies.
• Prepare detailed inspection and valuation reports using industry‑standard techniques.
• Install GPS trackers and SIM cards on vehicles, verifying proper functionality and compliance with safety protocols.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on motorcycles to restore operational status.
• Provide technical guidance to clients throughout the loan application process, answering questions about vehicle assessments and installations.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, installations, and repairs, generating reports for internal and regulatory use.
• Uphold quality standards and continuously identify process improvements.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 1 month of relevant experience (entry‑level candidates welcome).
• Fluent in English and Swahili.
• Strong knowledge of the Kenyan car market, including model features and technical specifications.
• High sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
