Technical Support Operator - Nyanza - Sotik

About the role

The Technical Support Operator will provide hands‑on technical assistance for vehicle‑related services linked to loan processing. You will work directly with repossessed motorcycles and cars, ensuring they are inspected, valued, and equipped with tracking technology to meet the company’s compliance and customer‑service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of repossessed motorcycles, documenting condition, damages and any discrepancies.
• Perform car valuations using industry‑standard techniques, considering make, model, year, mileage and market trends.
• Install GPS trackers on cars and motorcycles and ensure proper functionality.
• Install SIM cards in GPS devices and carry out minor motorcycle repairs.
• Assist clients during the loan application process by providing technical guidance.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, valuations, installations and repairs; generate reports for internal and compliance use.
• Uphold quality assurance standards and continuously seek process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies throughout all tasks.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in English and Swahili.
• Good knowledge of the Kenyan car market and vehicle technical structures.
• High sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
