Technical Support Representative – General Ledger Systems

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Support Representative to manage the configuration, daily operation, and maintenance of our General Ledger (GL) system within payroll engines. The role involves close collaboration with external clients to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and smooth production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain General Ledger system components.
• Diagnose and resolve GL‑related issues, including payroll errors.
• Monitor GL processing to guarantee data accuracy, integrity and completeness.
• Support accounting close processes on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Ensure project deadlines are met and maintain timely communication with clients via email and phone.
• Assist in updating client GL files and act as the primary point of contact for GL incidents and requests.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for recurring issues and document incidents and changes until resolution.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in GL system support, configuration or similar production environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and documentation abilities.
• Proven capacity to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
