Techno Commercial Manager – RAN (CU ENA)

About the role

Lead Ericsson’s RAN techno‑commercial strategy for Customer Units in East and North Africa, turning technology advancements into clear ROI/TCO value narratives and commercial structures. The role is on‑site and focuses on high‑value telecom deals across 2G‑5G, Cloud RAN and Open RAN ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute RAN techno‑commercial tactics for CU‑prioritised engagements, new product introductions and complex non‑delegated cases.
• Translate RAN technology advances into ROI/TCO narratives, commercial models and risk‑mitigation options.
• Drive proactive value creation by contributing to Strategy‑to‑Win and country strategies ahead of RFQs.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Contract Management and Sales to deliver data‑driven, market‑relevant pricing and margin‑smart incentive frameworks.
• Shape negotiation strategy with CU Commercial Management and Technical Presales, representing techno‑commercial logic to customer CTO/CPO/CFO teams.
• Industrialise reusable assets such as value argumentations, commercial tactics, scoping examples and T&C frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field; MBA preferred.
• Proven commercial or techno‑commercial experience in the RAN domain with hands‑on structuring and negotiation of complex telecom/ICT deals.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, credible with domain, commercial and C‑level executives.
• Experience in EMEA and African telecom markets is a plus.

Required skills

• 2G‑5G RAN technology knowledge, including Massive MIMO, software licensing, Cloud RAN and Open RAN.
• Exposure to Core, Cloud, Transport and OSS/BSS platforms.
• Commercial modelling, TCO/ROI analysis and value‑based pricing expertise.
• Financial fluency and negotiation expertise, including contract levers.
