Technology & Business Intelligence Lead

About the role

A leading automotive and mobility group, represented by Stratostaff East Africa, is looking for a Technology & Business Intelligence Lead in Nairobi. The role drives the organisation's digital and analytics transformation by embedding business intelligence systems, CRM capability and integrated reporting, turning the business into a data-driven enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the BI and CRM teams, set the BI and CRM roadmap and drive adoption of digital tools and reporting systems
• Own the implementation, configuration and adoption of Zoho CRM, including lead management, sales pipeline tracking and customer lifecycle management
• Establish data governance frameworks and manage integrations between Zoho CRM, Elva DMS, Microsoft Dynamics, Zapier and Power BI
• Oversee data modelling (logical and physical) and ensure a seamless flow of information across platforms
• Design live dashboards and deliver daily, weekly and monthly reports on sales, pipeline, lead conversion and customer satisfaction
• Analyse business performance trends and collaborate with the Growth team and Sales leadership on analytics and forecasting
• Partner with senior management to turn business needs into analytical frameworks and present insights clearly
• Prepare management reports, maintain documentation of data structures and reporting standards, and identify process improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Administration, Strategic Management or a related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role in a fast-paced business environment
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategy in BI, ERP and CRM environments
• Experience leading technical or analytics teams and driving system adoption across business units
• Relevant certifications in BI, data analytics, CRM or ERP are an added advantage

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Excel, Zoho and Tableau
• Strong understanding of CRM configuration and data integration across enterprise systems
• Knowledge of data governance principles and reporting best practices
• Excellent communication, presentation, organisation and time management skills
