Telecommunications Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to join a global leader in the telecom industry on a contract basis. This remote position focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust telecommunications systems for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimize VoIP, SIP, and PSTN networks.
• Integrate telecommunications solutions with existing IT infrastructure alongside cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose issues, and ensure high reliability.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, gateways, and other telecom hardware.
• Document configurations, policies, and procedures for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications engineering or a related field.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and non‑technical teams.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network problems.

Required skills

• VoIP, SIP, PSTN protocols and technologies.
• Network architecture, routing, and switching.
• Telecommunications hardware such as routers, switches, and gateways.
