Territory Trade Marketer (Beverages)

About the role

The Territory Trade Marketer will lead the beverage portfolio across the Westlands area, driving sales growth, market penetration and distributor performance. You will be responsible for executing the sales plan, managing trade partners and ensuring brand visibility in retail outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and exceed secondary sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to increase revenue and market share.
• Manage distributor relationships, monitor stock levels and conduct regular business reviews.
• Supervise Van Sales Representatives, Order Bookers and third‑party agencies, setting performance targets and providing coaching.
• Implement trade marketing initiatives, promotions and POS material placement.
• Expand outlet coverage, identify new business opportunities and resolve trade‑related issues.
• Gather market intelligence, track competitor activity and prepare accurate performance reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in FMCG or beverage sales, preferably in territory management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing distributor networks.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
