About the role
The Tours and Travel Consultant will advise clients on domestic travel destinations, design customized itineraries, and ensure a seamless travel experience.
Key responsibilities
- Advise clients on domestic travel destinations and tour packages.
- Plan and customize travel itineraries based on client preferences.
- Book hotels, transport, and other travel‑related services.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and social media.
- Promote domestic tour packages and travel services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure a smooth and enjoyable travel experience for customers.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Tours & Travel, Tourism Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a tours and travel company (preferred).
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Good knowledge of Kenya’s domestic tourist destinations.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required skills
- Familiarity with online booking systems.
