Trade Development Representative (TDR) Reliever – Nyeri

About the role

Dragonfly Africa is looking for a Trade Development Representative (TDR) Reliever to provide coverage for the TDR team in Nyeri. The role involves driving sales, building customer relationships, and working directly in the field within an FMCG environment. You will operate on‑site, reporting to the regional sales manager, and ensure product visibility across retail outlets. This is a full‑time position with a focus on independent field work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide relief coverage for the main TDR team during leave periods.
• Drive sales and nurture customer relationships with retailers and distributors in the assigned area.
• Work independently in the field, ensuring product visibility and availability.
• Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations while on the road.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or FMCG.
• Good knowledge of the Nyeri area.
• Strong communication and customer‑relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver’s licence (experience with retailers/distributors is a plus).
