Trader, Institutional Sales

About the role

The Trader, Institutional Sales will proactively manage a portfolio of institutional clients, delivering tailored equity, fixed‑income, derivative and structured product solutions. The role focuses on maximizing sales returns within defined risk limits while enhancing cross‑selling opportunities and overall client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, build and maintain relationships with diverse institutional clients.
• Advise clients on appropriate equity, fixed‑income, derivative and structured product solutions.
• Execute trades and ensure accurate deal execution across cash equities, fixed income and equity derivatives.
• Monitor market trends, conduct market analysis and provide insights to clients.
• Plan and track personal and team sales targets in line with operational objectives.
• Navigate risk and regulatory requirements while managing escalated client issues.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in trading, deal execution and financial‑markets analysis.
• Strong product knowledge across equities, fixed income and derivatives.
• Seasoned experience in asset‑management or financial‑services sales.
• Proven track record in client relationship management and problem‑solving.
• Understanding of risk, regulatory environment and market dynamics.

Required skills

• NSE ATS certification.
• CISI Level II certification.
