Training and Development Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our team. You will design, implement, and evaluate training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct new‑hire trainings, including up to 12‑week programs.
• Deliver ongoing service, product and policy training.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to departmental needs.
• Facilitate training sessions, workshops and seminars both in‑person and virtually.
• Assess training needs through surveys, interviews and manager consultations.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust programs as needed.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to keep content accurate and current.
• Maintain training records and track employee progress.
• Provide coaching and support to enhance professional development.
• Identify coaching opportunities with supervisors and support the sales team to improve performance.
• Analyze KPI reports to determine further training opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration or a related field.
• Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., CPTM, ATD) is a plus.
• Call‑center experience and travel‑industry background are advantageous.
• Ability to travel internationally to deliver training at various company locations.
• Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using Microsoft Teams for virtual training.
• Familiarity with e‑learning platforms and tools.
