Training Consultant – Financial Management for World Bank Projects

About the role

Devimpact Institute is looking for an experienced Training Consultant to deliver a practical professional training programme on financial management for World Bank‑funded projects. The role involves using real‑world case studies and facilitating hands‑on exercises for project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a practical and engaging training programme.
• Use relevant World Bank project case studies and real‑life examples.
• Facilitate exercises on budgeting, disbursement, IFRs, reconciliation, controls, and audit.
• Develop or adapt training materials, templates, exercises, and case studies.
• Provide practical guidance on financial management challenges faced by project teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Public Financial Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrable experience working with World Bank‑funded projects.
• Strong knowledge of World Bank financial management and fiduciary requirements.
• Previous experience in training, consulting, or capacity building.
