Training Manager – Global Electric Business (Kenya)

About the role
The Training Manager will lead the global training agenda for BURN’s Electric business, ensuring consistent, effective, and commercially relevant learning across markets. Reporting to senior leadership, the role owns training strategy, content, rollout, and performance tracking while guiding in‑country Training Officers.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a global electric‑product training strategy, standards and annual plan.
- Create, update and localise training content for products, sales, onboarding, processes and systems.
- Lead the rollout of HQ training materials to country teams and maintain a global training calendar.
- Coach and support in‑country Training Officers and run Train‑the‑Trainer programmes.
- Set minimum standards for onboarding, refresher training, assessments and certification.
- Monitor training impact on product usage, adoption, repayment, customer experience and carbon messaging.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, CX, Operations, Carbon and Country Managers to align training with business priorities.
- Define, track and report on global training KPIs and drive measurable improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven experience designing and delivering training programmes for electric or clean‑cooking products.
- Demonstrated ability to manage training strategy and rollout across multiple markets.
- Strong analytical mindset to track KPIs and translate data into actionable improvements.
- Excellent communication skills for coaching in‑country teams and delivering carbon‑impact messaging.
