Translation & Interpretation Internship – African Development Bank

About the role

The African Development Bank offers a Translation & Interpretation internship that provides professional and practical experience in a development‑finance environment. The role is hybrid, allowing interns to work remotely or on‑site depending on unit needs, and requires fluency in English or French.

Required profile

• Be at least the age of majority in your country and not older than 30 years at the start of the internship.
• Currently enrolled in a recognised master’s degree programme.
• Be a national of an African Development Bank member country.
• Provide a letter from your institution confirming enrolment or a copy of your degree.
• Fluent in at least one of the Bank’s working languages (English or French).
• Be able to use the Bank’s standard software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access); knowledge of SAP is desirable.
