Transport Operations Manager

About the role

The Transport Operations Manager will design and implement regional client service delivery strategies, ensuring operational excellence, client satisfaction and profitability. This role leads end‑to‑end transport service delivery, coordinates internal functions and maintains compliance with service‑level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute client service delivery strategies and best‑practice processes.
• Oversee daily transport management operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs, SOPs and governance standards.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Client Services team, fostering a culture of accountability and customer centricity.
• Produce accurate, timely reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Validate billing inputs, manage rate application, and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and support profitability management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations supervision or management.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance excellence.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in numerical data analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building capabilities.

Required skills

• Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) and planning software.
• Familiarity with tracking systems such as Pullsit and C‑Track.
• Knowledge of cross‑border transport operations and compliance.
