Stock Controller – Inventory Management

About the role
The Stock Controller will oversee the movement of bottle inventory across the receiving yard, dirty store, and clean store, ensuring accurate records and efficient handling from receipt to dispatch. This full‑time, onsite role reports to the Inventory & Procurement Officer.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise casual workers involved in receiving, sorting, decapping, washing, and packaging of bottles.
- Receive and verify deliveries against delivery notes, quantities, and quality specifications.
- Inspect, sort, and classify bottles by brand, type, colour, and SKU, segregating non‑conforming items.
- Record all inventory movements (receipts, transfers, issues, dispatches) in the Odoo ERP system.
- Coordinate issuance of bottles to production and manage returns at shift end.
- Maintain proper storage, stacking, labeling, and organisation in all store areas.
- Reconcile finished‑product quantities with ERP data and prepare dispatch documentation.
- Generate sales orders, delivery notes, and gate passes for outbound shipments.
- Compute weekly wages for production staff and address related inquiries.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct stock counts, investigate variances, and produce movement reports.
- Enforce housekeeping, safety procedures, PPE usage, and report hazards.
Required profile
- Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain, Stores Management, or a related field.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Odoo ERP system.
