Tutorial Fellow (Mental Health) - Grade 11

About the role

Mama Ngina University College, a constituent college of Kenyatta University, is recruiting a Tutorial Fellow (Mental Health) at Grade 11 (reference MNUC/TF/001/2025). This is the entry grade for Master's degree holders into the teaching cadre, working under the direct supervision of a senior officer.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake teaching, research and community outreach activities
• Participate in the development and review of academic programmes
• Guide and counsel students
• Supervise students in undergraduate-level research projects
• Administer examinations at undergraduate level and carry out student assessment
• Attend and take part in research conferences and seminars
• Carry out any other relevant duties assigned by the University College

Required profile

• Master's degree in Health Information Management, Health Systems Management, Health Service Management or Strategic Management, or its equivalent, from an accredited university
• Bachelor's degree in Health Records and Information Management or its equivalent
• Registration for a PhD in the area of specialty
• Current registration with relevant professional statutory bodies and membership in a professional association is an added advantage
• University teaching experience is an added advantage

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer applications
