Unit Manager (Insurance)

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Unit Manager (Insurance) in Nairobi. The role leads a team of financial advisors and insurance sales agents, drives unit sales performance and ensures compliance with insurance regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and motivate a team of financial advisors, set performance targets and run regular meetings, coaching and performance reviews.
• Recruit, onboard and retain advisors, train them on products, sales techniques and compliance, and build a pipeline of sales talent.
• Drive unit sales and revenue, develop sales strategies, support complex deals and monitor conversion rates, lead quality and pipelines.
• Track performance metrics and sales reports, use data to improve productivity and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Help advisors build client relationships, identify new business opportunities and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to insurance regulations and ethical sales practices, and keep licenses (IRA or ECOP) valid.

Required profile

• Over 3 years' experience in insurance sales or business development.
• Proven experience recruiting, managing and training financial advisors.
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-performing teams.
