Unit Manager – Retail Healthcare Insurance

About the role

The Unit Manager will lead revenue growth for the retail healthcare insurance segment, targeting small and medium‑sized enterprises as well as individual and family health plans. Based in Meru, you will expand and energise our distribution network by working closely with brokers and agents.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed revenue targets for new business and renewals across SME and individual/family product lines.
• Present Madison’s healthcare insurance solutions to existing and prospective intermediaries.
• Recruit and onboard new brokers and agents to meet growth objectives.
• Maintain long‑term commercial relationships with brokers, agents and other partners.
• Provide training, support and market intelligence to partners to ensure high productivity.
• Monitor market trends, report performance metrics and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma qualification.
• Mandatory prior experience in insurance sales or related field.
• Proven ability to manage broker/agent networks and drive sales results.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
