Video Editing Intern (Remote)

About the role

Adventists News Kenya is looking for a Video Editing Intern to support its content creation team with video edits for social media, training materials and digital campaigns. The internship is part-time, remote and flexible, lasting 3 months with an ASAP start date. No CV is required.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video for social media, marketing campaigns and digital platforms
• Cut and trim raw footage, add transitions, text overlays, background music, sound effects and basic animations
• Work with the creative team to keep brand consistency
• Repurpose content for different platforms such as YouTube, TikTok and Instagram Reels
• Stay up to date with current video trends and editing techniques

Required profile

• A strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing and style
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Access to a computer or laptop and editing software

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut
• Basic knowledge of audio editing and color correction is a plus
