Volunteer Faculty - Religion

About the role

The University seeks a dedicated Volunteer Faculty member to teach and develop the Religion program. This full‑time position involves curriculum design, classroom delivery, and student mentorship within a spiritually focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement high‑quality curriculum and lesson plans for religion courses.
• Prepare and deliver both contact‑learning and online teaching materials, using diverse methods such as field studies, group activities, and laboratory sessions.
• Create learning assessment plans and evaluate student performance.
• Supervise undergraduate, graduate, internship, and research projects.
• Conduct departmental research, publish findings, and participate in grant writing and collaborations.
• Advise students on academic and career matters as needed.
• Represent the department at conferences, workshops, industrial linkages, and outreach visits.
• Support departmental administrative and field operations.

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant field or a Master’s degree with a PhD candidate in the final data‑collection stage.
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizing, planning, and research abilities.
