About the role
The Ward Personal Assistant will provide administrative and institutional support to the elected Member for Mang’u Ward, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day office operations within the County Assembly of Kiambu.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative and institutional support to the Member and keep them informed about daily office activities.
- Draft official correspondence, prioritize incoming mail and enquiries, and manage the Member’s diary.
- Submit monthly returns on Ward Office operations and ensure prompt settlement of utility bills.
- Undertake general office management, supervise other staff, and act as custodian of office assets and records.
Required profile
- Adult Kenyan citizen.
- At least a secondary education qualification.
- Proficiency in English and Kiswahili.
- Computer literate.
Required skills
- Computer literacy for office tasks and record keeping.
