Access Field Manager

About the role

The Access Field Manager will develop and implement regional and hospital access plans for priority products, translating national strategies into actionable field initiatives. This role ensures access barriers are identified and mitigated while protecting pricing and positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional and hospital access plans, monitor listings and positioning across key accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospital, regional, payer, wholesaler and distributor stakeholders, mapping decision makers and influence pathways.
• Lead negotiations, tendering and contracting activities to secure formulary inclusion and reimbursement outcomes.
• Collaborate with Therapeutic Area Access Strategy, Medical, Commercial, HEOR/HTA, Execution Excellence and Public Affairs teams to align field activities with launch and lifecycle initiatives.
• Maintain accurate account data in CRM, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with SOPs, company policies and local regulations.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in market access, field access or related healthcare roles within complex healthcare systems.
• University degree in life sciences, pharmacy, health economics or related discipline; advanced degree desirable.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, access pathways, reimbursement, formulary and tendering processes.
• Proven negotiation, stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Experience working with hospitals, payers, regional health authorities or similar stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and execute structured account plans using data and KPIs.
