Accountant – Billing & Revenue Recognition

About the role

CBX Solutions is seeking an Accountant to manage billing, invoicing, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable in accordance with GAAP. You will work closely with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure accurate and timely customer billing and support month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial data for monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Ensure billing processes meet internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.
• Reconcile billing, revenue, and AR accounts during month‑end close.
• Prepare internal management reports summarizing account activity and trends.
• Review, reconcile, and adjust general ledger accounts, including sales and expense classifications.
• Post accurate journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Support external audits and regulatory reviews.
• Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Provide strategic insights on resource use through financial analysis.
• Assist with ad‑hoc reporting and financial modeling projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
