About the role
This full-time, on‑site position is for an Accountant based in Mombasa. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the finance team with reporting and analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and present financial statements and management reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Process invoices, manage payroll, and monitor daily financial transactions.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial data.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or ACCA certification is an advantage.
- Previous experience in accounting or financial roles preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with accounting software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
