Accounting Internship Program

About the role

Lattice Consulting offers a structured Accounting Internship Program in Nairobi, designed to give recent graduates hands‑on experience across audit, tax, accounting and corporate finance functions. Participants will rotate through engagements, receive mentorship and professional development throughout the program.

Key responsibilities

• Rotate across engagements to gain exposure to advisory, audit, tax and finance activities.
• Support internal audit reviews, testing of controls and preparation of audit working papers.
• Assist with tax computations, statutory filings and research on tax matters.
• Perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping, invoice processing and financial reporting, including Projects Accountant tasks.
• Help with financial modelling, business valuations and due‑diligence engagements under supervision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field, graduated within the last 2 years or awaiting graduation in 2026.
• Pursuing or completed a professional certification such as CPA(K), ACCA or ACA.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• High integrity, curiosity, willingness to learn and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.
