Ag Worker Intake Navigator

About the role

The Ag Worker Intake Navigator will support low‑income, Spanish‑speaking residents of Montana by providing information, referrals, and interpretation services. Working within Montana Legal Services Association’s civil legal aid program, you will help ensure that vulnerable community members can access justice.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake interviews in Spanish for all practice groups as needed.
• Interpret in‑person and phone consultations between clients and attorneys.
• Translate follow‑up emails, texts, and legal resources into Spanish.
• Assist clients with referrals to appropriate services and resources.
• Increase accessibility for Montana’s Spanish‑speaking community by translating MLSA’s materials.

Required profile

• High proficiency in oral and written Spanish.
• Experience collaborating empathetically with diverse colleagues, partners, and clients.
• Commitment to civil legal aid and equal justice for low‑income Montanans.

Required skills

• Spanish language fluency (oral and written).

What we offer

• Full‑time, 35‑hour work week with a salary range of $40,000‑$48,000 per year.
