Agriculture Internship – Development Finance

About the role
The African Development Bank offers a short‑term Agriculture internship that provides professional and practical experience in agriculture‑related work within a development‑finance environment. The position is open to master’s students from AfDB member countries who are fluent in English or French and can work in a hybrid setting (remote or on‑site). Internships last between three and six months and may be performed remotely or on‑site depending on the needs of the hiring unit.
Required profile
- Age between the age of majority and 30 years at the start of the internship.
- Currently enrolled in a recognised master’s degree programme (or within one year of graduation).
- National of an African Development Bank member country.
- Fluent in English or French.
- Must provide a letter confirming enrolment or a copy of the degree.
- Access to a personal computer, reliable internet connection and a conducive living environment for remote work.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
- Basic knowledge of SAP (desirable).
