Animal Feeds Sales Associate – Nanyuki

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Animal Feeds Sales Associate to drive sales of our feed products to dairy farmers and agro‑dealers in Nanyuki and surrounding areas. You will act as the main point of contact for customers, promoting our range and ensuring their livestock nutrition needs are met.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell animal feeds and related agricultural products.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify new sales opportunities and visit farms, dairy producers and agro‑dealers.
• Assess customers’ livestock and dairy production needs and recommend suitable feed solutions.
• Explain product benefits, usage guidelines and feeding practices.
• Follow up to encourage repeat purchases and achieve sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and pricing.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, orders and sales activities.
• Collaborate with the farm and management team to ensure efficient order handling.
• Participate in farmer meetings, demonstrations and promotional events.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Animal Health, Animal Science, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Animal Nutrition or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in animal‑feed sales, dairy farming or agricultural sales (advantageous).
• Good understanding of dairy cattle, feed products and basic livestock nutrition.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and able to work independently in the field.
• Organised with good record‑keeping skills.
