Architecture Trainer

About the role

The Architecture Trainer will join Rift Valley National Polytechnic in Nakuru, Westlands, Kenya, delivering architecture training to students. This full‑time position focuses on preparing learners with the foundational knowledge and practical skills required in the field of architecture. The role also involves mentoring students on project work and fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical training sessions on architectural concepts and design.
• Prepare and update training materials, including presentations and project briefs.
• Assess student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Provide guidance and feedback to support student development.
• Collaborate with faculty to ensure curriculum alignment with industry standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in a related architectural or construction discipline.
• Industry experience is an added advantage.
• Willingness to work full‑time on campus.
• Commitment to educational excellence and continuous learning.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of architectural principles and design processes.
• Ability to convey technical information effectively to learners.
