Area Energy Lead

About the role

As the Area Energy Lead at Spiro, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance, expansion, and safety of our battery‑swap and e‑mobility infrastructure across a designated region. You will drive operational excellence, manage field teams, and build strategic partnerships to support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain optimal uptime of battery‑swap stations, monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Lead preventive maintenance, safety checks and technical troubleshooting across the network.
• Identify new sites, negotiate lease agreements, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Develop relationships with landlords, authorities, utility providers and other key stakeholders.
• Supervise Swap Executives and field staff, providing training, coaching and performance reviews.
• Ensure a seamless customer experience, handling complaints and gathering feedback for service improvements.
• Prepare operational, incident and installation reports, maintaining accurate documentation.
• Oversee installation, commissioning and hand‑over of new stations, coordinating contractors and utility connections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, project management or infrastructure‑related roles.
• Proven ability to manage distributed assets and field‑based teams.
• Strong understanding of utility processes and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
