Assembly Technician – Vehicle Component Assembly

About the role

Assembly Technician responsible for constructing vehicle components and sub‑systems according to technical drawings, performing quality checks and supporting lean manufacturing in an automotive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical documents and drawings to understand product requirements.
• Assemble products and components using hand and power tools, following sequence of operation and work instructions.
• Build sub‑systems up to vehicle‑level, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards.
• Inspect auto parts and fully assembled vehicles for defects and verify corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the team to meet on‑time delivery targets.
• Perform quality inspections and tests as required.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and ensure a clean, safe shop.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an automotive environment.
• Knowledge of welding best practices and safety procedures.
