Assistant Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

The Assistant Accountant will support the Finance team of Limuru Country Club by handling routine accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with audits and payroll.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare bank and other account reconciliations.
• Process journals, accruals, prepayments and other routine accounting entries.
• Maintain supporting accounting schedules and documentation.
• Assist in account analysis, reconstruction and preparation of audit schedules.
• Support supplier reconciliations and preparation of payment documentation.
• Support payroll processing and preparation of payroll journals and schedules.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and depreciation schedules.
• Monitor member accounts and support statement preparation and reconciliation.
• Coordinate collection of required financial documentation from club departments.
• Maintain audit‑ready financial records and respond to finance queries.

Required profile

• Diploma in Commerce, Accounting or related field.
• CPA Level 4–5 in progress.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
