About the role
The Nakuru County Government is seeking five Assistant Agricultural Officers III to support local farmers. The role focuses on improving crop production and land management through hands‑on training and advisory services.
Key responsibilities
- Train and advise farmers on crop production techniques.
- Assist with land development planning.
- Manage demonstration plots to showcase best practices.
- Provide technical support for agricultural projects.
Required profile
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a mean grade of C‑ (or equivalent).
- A diploma in Agriculture, Food Technology, Agriculture & Home Economics, Agriculture Education, Horticulture, or a related field from a recognized institution.
