Assistant Field Sales Manager

About the role

The Assistant Field Sales Manager will work closely with the Field Sales Manager to help achieve sales targets in assigned rural areas. This role involves recruiting, training, and supporting commission‑based field agents who bring electricity solutions to underserved households.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Field Sales Manager in meeting area sales goals.
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding and training new field agents.
• Accompany agents on field visits, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Monitor market dynamics, customer behaviour, product demand and competitor activity, and report insights to management.
• Identify new sales opportunities and contribute to lead‑generation strategies.
• Collaborate with the sales team to design and implement local sales initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in sales or micro‑finance, preferably in rural settings.
• Experience supporting or managing sales teams is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to plan, strategize and act to achieve defined outcomes.
• Diploma in a relevant field is a plus.
