About the role

The Leader Band B‑2 position at Marryatville Primary School is an Assistant Principal role focused on wellbeing, numeracy and positive education. The successful candidate will join the school leadership team to drive a culture of health, high‑quality numeracy outcomes and a positive learning environment. Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate wellbeing initiatives across the school community.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve numeracy achievement for all students.
• Promote positive education practices that enhance student engagement and resilience.
• Support teachers through coaching, professional development and collaborative planning.
• Contribute to school‑wide policy development and strategic planning.
• Monitor and report on progress against wellbeing and numeracy targets.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with current registration.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of wellbeing frameworks, numeracy pedagogy and positive education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the values and mission of Marryatville Primary School.
