Assistant Residuals Analyst

About the role

The Assistant Residuals Analyst supports the processing of residuals setups and payments for television, theatrical and new‑media products. You will work closely with production payroll, residual systems and client teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of union‑mandated payments.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned shows, verify completeness of residual terms and execute client requests within deadlines.
• Analyze documents, calculate setups and payments according to established guidelines and union contracts.
• Identify missing information, propose efficient solutions and maintain a low return rate.
• Stay current on contract provisions, industry standards and system updates.
• Support department policies and promote teamwork to achieve common goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 0‑2 years experience in contract administration, union contracts, residuals, accounting or payroll (entertainment preferred).
• Strong arithmetic skills and ability to solve complex problems.
• Excellent written and oral communication, including active listening.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
