Bancassurance Sales Representative (Kisumu)

About the role

The Bancassurance Sales Representative will promote and sell insurance products through SBM Bank branches in Kisumu. You will act as the link between the bank’s customers and the insurance partner, delivering tailored solutions and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales of health and other insurance products across bank segments.
• Provide comprehensive insurance consultations and solutions to customers.
• Monitor sales performance, analyse results and adjust strategies.
• Collaborate with management on marketing campaigns and compliance initiatives.
• Support regional teams to ensure timely insurance business processing through SBM Bancassurance Intermediary Limited.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with the Insurance Act and internal SLAs.
• Collect premiums, manage refunds and prevent revenue leakage.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with up to 12 months of relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to build relationships with bank staff, agents and customers.
• Customer‑focused mindset with ethical conduct and transparency.

Required skills

• Sales and marketing skills applied to insurance products.
• Understanding of health insurance coverage, benefits and exclusions.
• Ability to train and support bank staff and agents on product selling.
