Barista – Full-time at Java House, Eldoret

About the role

Join Java House Africa Ltd as a Barista at the bustling Eldoret Java Branch. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality coffee and specialty beverages while providing excellent customer service in a fast‑paced café environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, including coffee, tea, artisan and specialty beverages.
• Interact with customers at all touch points, ensuring a positive experience.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) consistently during production.
• Assist the lead Barista with stock monitoring, daily stock‑take, and ordering.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and fully functional counter and pastry case.
• Handle take‑away and eat‑in orders promptly according to the order docket.
• Control wastage, manage cash float, and ensure sufficient change is available.
• Collaborate with team members to guarantee smooth operations and timely closure of the counter.
• Perform any additional tasks as directed by supervisors.

• Willingness to undergo in‑house barista training and deliver excellent customer care.
