About the role
We are seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to manage our organization’s financial records. The ideal candidate has a strong numerical aptitude, is comfortable with payroll and accounting software, and can meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
Key responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Verify receipts and process bank payments via cash or cheque.
- Monitor office expenses and settle vendor invoices.
- Assist with the preparation of tax forms.
- Process and maintain payroll records.
- Ensure transaction accuracy and proper ledger entry.
- Develop daily and monthly financial and statistical reports for management.
Required profile
- Relevant experience as a bookkeeper (X years indicated).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Basic data‑entry experience.
- Strong attention to detail and high integrity.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- In‑depth knowledge of bookkeeping procedures, best practices, and terminology.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel).
- Experience using popular accounting software.
- Familiarity with payroll software.
