Branch Assistant - Lucky Summer

About the role

Victory Farms is hiring a Branch Assistant for its Lucky Summer branch in Westlands, Nairobi. The role supports the branch sales team by handling stock, maintaining the branch environment, weighing fish for client orders and keeping accurate records, while reporting to the Regional Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming stock deliveries, verify quantities and ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with the Regional Supervisor to inspect received goods for quality and compliance with standards.
• Assist in managing inventory through regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies and keep records of stock movements.
• Weigh fish for client orders on request from the Branch Captain and verify payments recorded on a separate sheet.
• Keep the branch clean and well arranged, including rotogals, drums, crates, displays and the weighing scale.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory levels and operational issues and share them with the Regional Supervisor.
• Support the sales team so they can serve customers promptly and work with colleagues in a transparent way.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies, and carry out other tasks assigned by the Regional Sales Manager or Regional Supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum of a High School Diploma; a certificate in Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 1 year of proven experience in sales and marketing roles.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service.
• Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, team orientation and good organisational skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with POS systems and basic inventory management tools.
