Branch Manager for AIM Program in Kisii/Kakamega

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the implementation of the Mastercard Foundation Accelerating Impact for Young Women (AIM) program at the branch level, overseeing day‑to‑day activities, staff supervision, stakeholder coordination and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide supervisory support for all AIM program activities, ensuring planning, rollout, implementation and tracking according to the operations manual.
• Lead team onboarding, training, activity planning for Program Assistants and Branch Accounts & Operations Officer.
• Oversee community identification, household surveys, club set‑up, participant selection using the BInsight application and mentor recruitment.
• Ensure accurate data collection, distribution of livelihood and education support, and timely financial reporting.
• Coordinate market development, community mobilization and collaboration with BRAC Microfinance to achieve MF transition targets.
• Maintain branch‑level procurement compliance, cash flow management and safeguarding standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Social Science, Community Development, Business Administration, Education or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the national/international development sector, preferably working with extreme‑poor populations.
• Experience supervising staff and managing multi‑stakeholder programs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BInsight data collection tool.
• Strong monitoring, reporting and MIS skills.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and financial management.
