Business Coach for CASHA Programme (Isiolo)

About the role

The CASHA Business Coach will support young entrepreneurs and small‑scale enterprises in Isiolo and surrounding ASAL counties. You will provide hands‑on mentorship, market‑entry guidance and data‑driven advice to help micro‑enterprises grow sustainably.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver business development services (BDS) to SMEs operating in livestock and agricultural value chains.
• Collect, enter and analyse field data to generate actionable insights for clients and program managers.
• Facilitate market‑entry strategies, identify growth opportunities and monitor progress.
• Travel by motorcycle to remote sites, conduct on‑the‑ground coaching sessions and follow‑up visits.
• Collaborate with the CASHA implementation team to ensure alignment with program objectives.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Agriculture or Livestock.
• 3‑5 years experience working with youth, SMEs and value‑chain actors in ASAL regions.
• Proven track record in delivering BDS and fostering inclusive business growth.
• Valid motorcycle licence (A1/A2) and ability to ride safely in field conditions.
• Resident of the county where CASHA is implemented.
