Business Development Executive - Property Management

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Business Development Executive for its property management business, based in Nairobi's CBD. The role covers generating leads, acquiring clients and converting them into signed property management contracts, while maintaining client relationships and reporting on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads from property owners, landlords and investors, and build a steady pipeline of prospective clients
• Research market trends and competitor activity to find growth opportunities
• Present the company's property management services, prepare proposals and quotations, and negotiate to turn leads into signed contracts
• Achieve agreed monthly and quarterly client acquisition and revenue targets
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, proposals and converted clients
• Onboard new clients with the operations team, gather property and client information and follow up to ensure satisfaction
• Report on leads, meetings, proposals and contracts, monitor conversion rates and pipeline, and prepare periodic reports for management
• Build relationships with landlords, real estate professionals, investors and developers, and attend networking events

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Real Estate or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a busy property management company
• Proven experience in business development, lead generation and client acquisition
• Experience converting property owners and landlords into management clients is highly advantageous

Required skills

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills
• Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline and consistently achieve targets
