Business Development Manager - Advertising

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to expand our CTV advertising business across East, West and Central Africa. You will own the end‑to‑end sales process, build relationships with advertising partners, distributors and agencies, and help establish the foundation of our ad inventory in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new‑business development for CTV advertising inventory across the targeted African markets.
• Identify, pitch and sign advertising partners, distributors, media agencies and brands.
• Build and manage a deal pipeline from prospecting through to closure.
• Structure commercial proposals including CPM packages, ad‑inventory deals and revenue‑share terms.
• Grow the company’s advertising presence in markets where the platform is new.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional Manager to align strategy, targets and execution.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in advertising, media sales or digital ad business development.
• Strong understanding of digital and CTV advertising fundamentals such as CPM, ad inventory, programmatic and media buying.
• Proven ability to prospect, pitch and close deals.
• Familiarity with the African advertising and media landscape.
• Self‑starter with commercial instincts and clear communication skills.

What we offer

• Base salary of $2,500 plus commission.
