Business Development Manager – Floriculture (Kenya)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and build strategic partnerships within Kenya’s fast‑growing floriculture sector. Based in Nairobi, you will lead sales of specialty soluble fertilizers and crop‑protection products, providing technical expertise to flower farms and exporters.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales of specialty soluble fertilizers and crop‑protection products in the floriculture sector.
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with key flower farms, exporters and distributors.
• Provide technical solutions on fertigation, crop nutrition, and pest‑disease management.
• Identify market opportunities, expand the customer base and achieve sales, margin and collection targets.
• Collaborate with distributors to ensure product availability and market coverage across regions such as Naivasha, Thika, Nanyuki and Eldoret.

Required profile

• Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, Crop Protection or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in agri‑input sales, preferably within floriculture.
• Based in Nairobi with frequent travel to major floriculture regions.
